Very true! we always had sour cherries with lots of things... ice cream, yoghurt or quark, sour cherry juice!

Pretty kitty misses you and Richard! She's been on our steps morning and night, holding little summits with our kitties :)

Lovely piece, Elizabeth. Where I grew up in Germany our house was surrounded by sour cherry fields so I have fond memories of eating sour cherries during the summer months! I hope you've been well. We miss seeing you :)

Europe seems to have a much bigger tradition of using sour cherries in all kinds of things beyond pie! How lovely to be surrounded by cherry trees! We miss seeing everyone too. How is Pretty Kitty?
