I loved this Elizabeth! I'm reading Hello Beautiful by Ann Napolitano and one of the main characters is learning to accept that a "normal" life path doesn't fit her. Her father gives her this advice and I laid in bed and thought about it for a good long while last night: "It's because you know that more is possible that you'll always see the pointlessness in following a stupid rule..."
Elizabeth, a message for a post-Nov 6th quandary… so beautifully expressed. TY
“…an act of personal empowerment. We take what we have—whether it’s the path we choose, the relationships we’re in, or the environment we inhabit—and find ways to adapt, rather than expecting them to change for us. This isn’t compromise but transformation. To do this is to honour who we are and who we are becoming.”
yes a typo! Should be # symbol; corrected now. Let me know if you try it. I'm wondering if the directions are confusing. At the very least make the ragu. Is it easy and SO delicious!
It’s amazing how many rules bind us, isn’t it? And yet we are the rule makers!
