Today, on Mother’s Day, I wanted to reshare the story of my beautiful mother, gone now 34 years. I miss her every day, but especially today. I share her with you not only because she shaped who I am, but because I believe that when we speak of those we’ve loved, they live on—in memory, in spirit, and in the telling. I hope you’ll take a moment to meet her.

Thank you for sharing this again. It made me cry as much as I did the first time! I think as the years pass, we become more and more grateful for the sacrifices, love, traditions and values that were passed on by our elders. It transcends generationally, and I agree that continuing to honour their memory is essential. May her memory live on!
Your mother was such a lovely woman, with a beautiful heart❤️
